In June 2022, Consulting Cluster Veritas held two information sessions within the framework of theDIGITOUR – Boosting the tourism sector in Europe through digital tools and innovation project. The events aimed to raise awareness about the available voucher schemes supporting tourism SMEs.

The first event took place on 20 June 2022 at Graffiti Hotel in Varna, co-organised with the Varna Tourism Chamber. The project was presented by Kristiana Kazandzhieva, tourism expert and DIGITOUR consortium member (Consulting Cluster Veritas). Participants included tour operators (Golden Tour, Franga), hotel representatives (Grifid Hotels, Graffiti, Chernomorets hut), restaurant businesses (Three Musketeers chain), the Alliance Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, and representatives from the University of Economics – Varna. The Q&A session that followed showed clear interest in the scheme’s scope, eligibility and funding conditions.

The second event was held on 23 June 2022 at Misia23 Creative Hub in Sofia and brought together 25 participants from the tourism sector. The Veritas team presented the upcoming Call for Proposals and explained the two voucher schemes:

• Up-skilling and Capacity Building Voucher – for individual SMEs
• Collaboration Innovation Voucher – for SME groups engaging in national or transnational innovation
