From 13 to 15 September 2023, Burgas, Bulgaria, became a vibrant meeting place for European clusters and regional ecosystems during the Clusters Meet Regions event – part of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) initiative. The event was organised on behalf of the European Commission, in partnership with Consulting Cluster Veritas and ICT Cluster Burgas, and with the strong support of local and regional authorities.

Key highlights and achievements:
- Over 140 participants from 12 countries, including cluster managers, SMEs, policymakers, academics, and innovation actors;
- Focus on the three key sectors of the region: Tourism, Information and Communication Technologies, and Creative Industries;
- Interactive matchmaking sessions, working groups, and best practice sharing;
- Policy dialogue and project discussions centered on internationalisation, green and digital transitions, and cross-sector partnerships;
- The agenda was enriched by the DIGITOUR project event, coordinated by Consulting Cluster Veritas, which enhanced the impact on tourism innovation and collaboration.
